Inter Branch Transfer

  • Anyone can transfer Myanmar currency (Kyats).
  • This remittance can be send between CB bank branches and other linked Banks.

1. Receiving a Remittance

  • 1.1 Anyone can transfer Myanmar currency (Kyats).
  • 1.2 This remittance can be send between CB bank branches and other linked Banks.
  • 1.3 It needs to provide name, ID number, Transfer account number, address and phone-number of both sender and receiver completely.

2. Remittance Fee Rate

  • 2.1 At present remittance rate is defined MMK 0.05 for remittance MMK 100 and added MMK 500 to any statement for Fax using.
  • 2.2 The remittance rate is defined at least MMK 150. According to negotiation between the branches, the remittance amount can be transferred. There is no limit on remittance amount.
  • 2.3 We should get special remittance rate for Special restricted area as occasionally.

3. Sending a remittance (Drawing)

  • 3.1 CB Bank issues the remittance sender form freely.
  • 3.2 The remittance can be transferred by cash or account transfer.
  • 3.3 Sending Remittance is permitted with representative.
  • 3.4 It needs two receivers’ name and please mention with “or” of their names in case of inconclusive receiver.
  • 3.5 Bank provides a receipt in usual remittance time. If you wish to correct, add items, or reject on receipt, sender should come to the bank with that receipt. Therefore, the receipt should be kept safely.
  • 3.6 The remittance will have to be used online system between CB banks branches and Fax system to other linked Bank branches in short period of time.

4. Encashment

  • 4.1 We inform receiver a remittance which send by online (or) Fax as immediate.
  • 4.2 Receiver of remittance should take his/her original ID Card.
  • 4.3 Do not allow to accept remittance as for representative.
  • 4.4 If remittance arrives with two receivers' name, we give it one of them.

5. Confindentiality

  • 5.1 Bank secretes all data of concern with domestic remittance. All of Bank-Staffs signed and Contracted to obey for rule and regulations of secrete as their employment-time.

6. Standing Instructions

You should give Standing Instructions To Bank for perform as following articles behalf of the receiver.

  • Bank provides auto-transfer encashment to customer’s favorite account.
  • Remittance transfer account should be receiver account.

7. Alteration and Cancelation

  • 7.1 If you wish to correct an error statement, the person should come to us with a receipt together.
  • 7.2 The person should pay the service charge for correction and rejection which defined by bank as occasionally.
  • 7.3 We provide to sender when he wish to accept the remittance again as unreasonable condition.

8. Dormant Remittance

  • 8.1 Remittances which are not withdrawn over one month will be saved by the branch manager.
  • 8.2 Remittances which are not withdrawn over three months and over will be informed to the sending bank or drawing bank and this information will be sent to Remittance Department, Head Office.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The CB Bank (PLC) board of directors has the authority to add, repeal or to amend these rules and regulations from time to time. The amendments will be made known by sticking them on the bank advertising board.
