Kasikorn Bank (K Bank) - Thai to CB Bank

At the first time, the sender must need to apply to get the ATM card at K-Bank. After receving the ATM cards, you can remit to CB Bank and its branches via K-Bank ATM. From any Kasikorn Bank (K Bank) branch to CB Bank and its Affiliated Bank in Myanmar, you can now remit up to a maximum of THB - 100,000 per sender per day. At a flat pay of only THB-200 per transaction. The remittance amount can be credit to savings accout directly.

  • Provide your Beneficiary’s Name, his/her identification number and contact number.

IME to CB Bank

IME is the first Money Express Company that permitted to launch the Remittance Services in Malaysia by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and first to obtain the Remittance License to facilitate money transfer services throughout the world. DBS Bank to CB Bank

What is this service?

This service allows you to transfer money to Myanmar just by using DBS internet or mobile banking platforms without having to visit banks or remittance agents.

Who can receive money?

Anyone who has 16-digit bank accounts with CB Bank can receive money.

How do I transfer money?

  • 1. Go to Bill Payment Service in DBS’s mobile or internet banking platform.
  • 2. Choose “Co-operative Bank” in Bill Payment Organizations.
  • 3. Key in the amount you want to transfer and 16-digit CB Bank account number.

How does the beneficiary receive money?

Money will be credited into the beneficiary’s bank account with CB Bank on the next working day. The amount in SGD will be converted into Myanmar Kyats using CB Bank’s exchange rate on the settlement day.

What are the fees and charges?

The amount in Myanmar Kyats equivalent to SGD 5 will be deducted from the remittance amount.

What is the maximum and minimum transaction amount?

The maximum amount is SGD 3,000 per remitter per transaction. The minimum amount is SGD 100.

CIMB Bank to CB Bank

With CIMB Bank’s Speed Send Service, CB Bank customers can receive fund transfers from 20 different countries and withdraw at any CB Bank branches (Inbound only).
SWIFT code for transfer is in 13 alphanumerics format. For example CMT[2 alphabets]12345678
Maximum transfer amount and transfer fees may vary depending on the originating country.
There will be no additional charges by CB Bank. Withdrawals at Mobile Agents will be same as domestic transfer rate.

How to receive fund?

The receiver need to bring their original NRIC Card and provide the following information at nearest CB Branch or agent:

SBI Remit has connected with CB Bank to provide remittance service to Myanmar since September 2017. Receiver must have CB Bank account to transfer money. Money will be directly transferred to CB Bank account. The transfer period is 1 day.

SBI Membership Registration

Sender has to apply SBI Remit Card first online and after filling all the given information, the card will be sent via post office. Sender can start doing money transfer after getting SBI Remit card.

SBI Remit is connected with Japan Post Bank. Transferrer have to make a deposit via post office and transferring money can be also done by Japan Post Bank ATM.

What is this service?

This service allows you to transfer money from OCBC Bank to CB Bank account (Myanmar kyat account). To use this service, the remitter will first need to register an account at send2cb.cbbank.com.mm

What are the fees and charges?

Transaction fees is SGD 3 per transaction. During the promotion period (2nd October to 31st December 2018), transaction fees is SGD 0.

What is the maximum and minimum transaction amount?

The maximum amount is SGD 5,000 per remitter per transaction. The minimum amount is SGD 10.

When will the beneficiary receive money?

Beneficiary will receive the transferred amount the next bank working day.

How do I transfer money?

1. For first time user, register an account at send2cb.cbbank.com.mm
2. Login to SEND2CB account that you have registered.
3. To transfer money, click “Order.”
4. Fill out the Order Form and obtain Reference Number.
5. After that, transfer the total amount to OCBC bank account.
