Through Inward Remittance, you can receive funds from abroad.

Receive notification of incoming funds from any bank by using SWIFT Code CPOBMMMY when transferring money to Myanmar.

To FCY accounts (USD, SGD, EUR, THB) – 10,000 MMK or equivalent foreign currency

Cancellation charges

Cancellation fees - MMK 10,000 (Equivalent foreign currency).

Processing Time

All inward remittance from correspondent banks will be processed and credited to customer’s account on next banking day.

Rate to convert the inward funds

The buying TT rate is converted automatically by T24 system.

Advice for inward remittance

The credit advice can be collected at CB Bank or received by e-alert purchased.

Can the beneficiary receive inward funds that are in foreign currency (USD, Euro, SGC, JPY, and THB) with Myanmar currency account?

Yes, however beneficiary will receive the funds in Myanmar Kyats after foreign currency is converted at CB Bank’s exchange rate.
