Business Expansion Loan powered by KfW is supported by KfW Development Bank, a German government owned bank, with the aim of providing sustainable and need-based financing to Myanmar SMEs. The purpose of the loan is to provide financing for investment in fixed assets such as purchasing new machineries, factory construction, factory renovation, restaurant expansion and more.

The invested fixed assets can also be pledged as collateral. Loan applicant required to make a commitment of 10% to 20% of the total investment value.

You must contribute at least 10% to 20% of the investment.

E.g. If the value of the equipment to be purchased with the loan is 100 Mill kyats, it is necessary for the business owner to contribute at least 10% (10 Million kyats) to 20% (up to 20 million kyats). If the business owner owns the land and applies for a building loan, the business owner will need to apply for a loan to cover the cost of building the building with the land contribution.
