This is a non-interest-bearing account. Current account comes with a cheque book. The Account Holder can make payment by writing cheque in favor of the payee (beneficiary).

  • List and names of board of directors
  • Board of directors meeting records and resolutions to open the account
  • Names of individuals who will make transactions for and on behalf of the company and their specimen signatures

When you lost cheque book, you would need to contact to CB Bank branches where you first opened this account immediately to cancel the cheques. A new cheque book can be applied for and re-issued for a replacement charge of 2,000 MMK.

Is there a limitation on withdrawal?

There is no limitation on withdrawal, as you can withdraw in part or in full up to the total credit balance in the Account by writing a cheque or presenting a cash cheque over the bank’s counters.
