Our customers have been key priority to the CB Bank. Since the beginning of February 2020, CB Bank has been working on various ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 Virus. At every branch, CB Bank has been checking temperature of our customers, placing hand sanitizers at public places, and ramping up cleaning and sanitization especially for public facilities and ATMs by using disinfectant to ensure our customers are safe. Virus information has been shared to the public via CB Pay, the Bank’s mobile banking platform. Our customers can make use of Internet Banking, CB Pay, Mobile Banking, ATM and CRM (Cash Deposit Machine).
Preventive measures have been undertaken such as measuring every employee’s temperature daily, enforcing them to use hand sanitizer, equipping security guards with mask, safety glasses and gloves, providing masks and hand sanitizers to all employees as well as making them wearing masks compulsory. Through the Bank’s computer screens, internal websites and emails, employees are regularly informed and updated regarding the news of COVID-19 Virus and instructions from the Ministry of Health and Sports. The information is also shared by giving seminars as well.
For CB Bank’s departments essential for administration and operation, they have been assigned to work under new temporary seating arrangements as part of the COVID-19 preventive measures. Backup teams are in place to continue the Bank’s operation. In the case of emergency at the bank branches, the Bank management have already set up procedures to ensure usual operation can be continued. Implementation has been in place for employees to comply with social distancing and work from home guidelines.
CB Bank is monitoring the developments of the virus and we are working on preventive ways to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate our customers’ participation and understanding.
